Locks Heath hires ADP to protect shopping centre
Security guards have been called in to protect an outdoor shopping centre in Fareham. The Landlords have recently obtained planning permission for a major new development, to attract more national tenants and make the centre a more convivial shopping experience with updated, free parking and new landscaping. ADP Security Systems was selected after a competitive tender, to provide security, health and safety around the 96,000 sq.foot open site. Footfall has been estimated at around 20,000 visitors per week, with parking for 450 cars. Graham Warner, manager of Locks Heath Shopping Centre, said: "ADP are highly professional and we find that having a security team on site helps to make the tenants feel more secure. The centre is aiming to provide a very welcoming shopping experience to our visitors and we want to ensure there is a high standard of security, customer service and health and safety monitoring for the future success of the centre. ADP also secures Fareham Shopping Centre, and recently opened an office in Eastleigh to be closer to clients in the area.
